Brian
Christopher Burrill
Growing
up on the North Shore of Massachusetts, Brian recalls locking
himself in his room for hours when he was twelve years old to learn
to play guitar. Although he annoyed everyone within earshot, he
eventually got it down.
After
being in several garage bands, Brian sang solo at an open mic night,
and quickly got the bug. He would occasionally pick up someone's bass
guitar just to be part of the sound. Soon, Brian joined members of
that open mic and formed "The Walker Brothers Band" , in
which he played bass.
In
December of 1991, he was introduced to the guys in the Low Murphy
Band, who were looking for a bass player that could sing. Brian
joined , and has been solidifying his bass technique and vocal
harmonies ever since.
He
was part of the Boston music scene as lead guitarist for the band
"Roseshel" , and once opened for Janis Joplin' s old band
"Big Brother and the Holding Company" .
Brian
now lives in the Boston area and continues to perform solo at
various venues around the city as well as on the North Shore and Cape
Cod. When he's not strumming his acoustic, you can see him supplying
the low end and vocals to LMB.
His
latest project as guitarist for vocalist "Julie White" is
already creating quite a buzz around Boston. The band has a great
sound featuring Julie White on vocals, drummer Chris Botelho,
keyboardist Crystal Smith and bassist Scott Lilliott. Check out some

Brian's
first solo release "Untucked" will be available
soon. This album contains songs shaped by his own experiences, with
sounds and lyrics that any audience will embrace.
